It’s I, Who remains here
Help me create something real

“Moments of gratitude: I am grateful for the wonderful weekend with my family.”
“I am stronger than my fears, and every step forward is a victory over them.”
In depths shadows steer,
“I must not fear, I must not fear,”
Echoes loud in chambers clear,
Fear is the mind-killer, near.
A specter, death,
Threatening obliterations, preying on peers,
With courage, one must adhere,
Face the fear, let it pass, don’t interfere.
Through tempest, through jeer,
Allowing flow over and under, year to year,
And when its presence, no longer adheres,
Aftermath’s path, with inner eye, I’ll peer.
When dread finally clears,
And echo fades from the ear,
Where once was fear, now disappears,
Leaving only I, to command the sphere.
In silence, the truth endears,
Beyond the fear, through the smear,
With strength and heart, one perseveres,
For when fear has gone, it’s I, who remains here.
“God, I felt Your presence this weekend. You gave me peace. Family time is what I need more of.”
“Don’t forget to take a moment of gratitude. What are you grateful for today? Write it in the comments.”
“My stepdad and mother were telling me a story that I don’t remember from when I was 8. Although I was old enough to remember, I didn’t. I remember things from when I was 4, but not these stories.”
