It’s hard to write When you’re feeling good The depths of your sool Arise with your mood

It’s easy to write When you’re in a mood The emotions and feelings Come easy They fill your mind and soul to the brim

But you have to write on both days Because that’s dedication That’s the medication That keeps the soul moving The keeps the blood flowing

Write every day Write in every way Write when you’re okay Write when you’re not okay Write because it’s your calling And because you can’t stay away
