It’s About Time Medium Added an “About” Option
This is a great option to learn more about fellow writers!
Unable to sleep (again), I poured a cup of coffee and fired up the computer this morning. As usual, I pop onto Medium to do some reading and/or writing. However, my plans were interrupted. I saw a notification on my profile page: There is an “About” option conveniently located near the “Home” and “Lists”!
Two thoughts immediately popped into my mind seeing this: It’s about time Medium and Thanks, insomnia!
Before this option, many writers opted to create an “About Me” post and simply pin it at the top of their profile page. Here’s an example:
With this new profile page category, you can now free up that space for another article! Perhaps you want to use that “Pinned” option for your most popular post, a Table of Contents for your serialized fiction, or to share an accomplishment.

So far, we’ve seen Medium rolling out some updates and this appears to be one of their latest ones. Now, I can’t help but wonder, What else do they have up their sleeves?
