It Is Time to Turn Your Life Around When You Get to This Point
The crossroad for a life transformation
Are you satisfied with your life? Are you confident with who you are?
Are you happy with the person you see in the mirror? Can you take a look at your life and boldly say everything is alright with you?
Do you think things are the way you expect them to be?
Don’t you think you need a change? Or everything is cool with you?
Or enough is enough with things in your life, and you can take it anymore?
Often by our conditioning, we are blind to see the light in the darkness. When we are in situations that suggest we’ll have to change, we cannot see it.
But if the questions asked above feel like anything to do with your life, then it’s time to make a change.
The elements in those questions are signs that you need to turn on a new leaf in your life, and if you’re one of the people whose answers to these questions aren’t positive, then the time is now.
You are in pain, pissed off, frustrated, depressed either from a job you work at or from a relationship that you are in or whatever. It’s time to make a move towards a new you and a better life.
Take the first step
Experiencing those negative energies that don’t make you prosper but perish in life — emotional pain, frustration, depression, etc. are signs that you need a new life.
So how do you come about with this new life? Simple! Make a decision not to accept or take it anymore and be willing to do whatever you can to change the situation.
“It is in the moments of decision our destinies shaped.” — Tony Robins
When I was at the lowest moment of my life, things weren’t great, and I was depressed, frustrated, angry, smoking, and abusing drugs. People disrespecting and maltreating me, and I became jealous of people who were doing well with their lives, and I couldn’t take it anymore; it was the decision that I made to change things that saved me from all of it.
I decided that I wouldn’t allow my life to go in that direction anymore and will do everything to turn things around to live the way I want and be respected and treated right by people. After making that decision, everything changed, and right from that day, nobody has denigrated me, neither have my life be in the mud — frustrated, depressed, drugs, jealous of people. No more!
Why?
Because I decided to change all of it and stick with the decision, and here I am today, living life happily and doing what I love and living life on my terms. By it, I’m even writing and telling you this.
So, you’ve seen the power of decision and what it’s capable of doing?
When you decide not to accept your situation anymore but turn it around, you can achieve it.
Keep going despite the discomfort
The decision to turn things around for you isn’t going to be a simple task. It’s going to be damn tricky and challenging.
So, what can keep you going despite the challenges?
Your why! That pain, frustration, and depressing situation you find yourself in and want to change. That’s what will keep you going.
Therefore, when the challenges and difficulties start to show up, as they will, you always want to remember “your why” — the reason you made the decision and took the first step. You want to make that reason more giant than the discomfort that will show up.
The best way to do it is always to remember the experiences you went through that you didn’t like and wanted a change. And compare it to the discomfort you’re facing trying to change things around and decide — to keep going or stop and live in the miserable life you are and don’t want anymore.
When I was working towards the change in my life, that’s what I did. That, whenever I felt the resistance to give up. I will make a comparison. And by the comparison, I will keep going. It wasn’t easy, though. It was a painful process. But with “my why,” I always overcame the resistance — the pain of discomfort from the process, and I triumphed. That’s what you, too, must do.
”Transformation without work and pain, without suffering, without a sense of loss is just an illusion of true change.” — Wm.Paul Young
Save yourself
When you start such a journey to transform your life, because where you’re heading towards — the new you and life that isn’t a zone you live already, and it’s going to be painful and challenging, you’ll need someone, resources, etc. to keep going. You want to commit yourself to self-improvement. Yes! You heard me right. You’ll need self-improvement as your protective mechanism.
I have never seen anyone transform their lives or go through a severe life change for the better that didn’t do it with self-improvement — reading, listening to people who have been in the same life situation as you and have made it out successfully, living their dreams. I’ve never heard anything like that.
Which means you’ll need people’s advice. If getting a mentor or a coach is what will help you, do it. Whatever the price might be to get you to make this change, whether you can pay it or not, do it. Whatever the case is! But by all means, do something to save you. Seek knowledge of how to make the change successfully. Do everything you can to protect yourself, especially your mind — feed it with the right information.
Because if you don’t, the probability of drifting back and not achieving that goal of changing your life is high. You won’t reach your goal, and you’ll remain as you are. So, do everything you can to ensure this change. And self-improvement is the best option.
“Self-improvement is the name of the game, and your primary objective is to strengthen yourself, not to destroy an opponent.” — Maxwell Maltz
Whatever you do, remember this.
To change one’s life from a desperate state to a beautiful one takes a high ton of work and commitment.
To change your life situation, you want to bear that in mind. You’ll need to work every day. If you work today and you don’t, tomorrow, nothing will change. It would help if you kept working every day to the extent where you can see you’ve achieved your intended result. And even when you achieve those results, you want to keep working.
The reason; Nothing stays the same in this life. It’s either you are growing or dying in every area of your life. To avoid this, you must work and never stop until the end of time.
With that, you are sure of living your dream life and every life that you desire, and without it, you can tell. Failure!
So, in your doings, you want to be on the same verge as C.A.N.I — continuous and never-ending improvement and keep working. That’s the secret of all great achievers and people who are living their dreams.
In Conclusion
Everything you’re going through in life — the pain, frustration, depression, etc. are all signs that life shows to let you know that you deserve better and need a change.
Sometimes, it’s difficult for us to see it and adhere to it. But if you’ve been experiencing these things and haven’t made an effort to change because you have no idea the meaning of these signs, it’s time, brother. It’s time, sister, for a change.
Because life isn’t for us to go through all these pains and anxieties and depression, it’s to be enjoyed and be happy. And if you aren’t enjoying it and being happy, you need a change and the hour is now.
Take the first step. Make that change possible. You deserve better.
