It Is OK To Be Stuck In A Fixed Mindset. Magic Happens When You Become Aware And Take These Specific Steps

It all started with my inspired part wanting to share inspirational videos Part 2

In my following article

I shared the following:

How I labeled OR I was subconsciously telling myself that I am not able to or I am not good at batching and writing.

How I was thinking of sharing the motivational videos with my audience but my Inspired self and Strategic self were acting like pressing a car accelerator and brake ( their functions are opposite to each other) and keeping me stuck.

My commitment to write for 15 minutes on my mobile App.

How watching one Video helped me change my Self-Talk to the following clear Action Step:

Just try batching and writing three Draft articles within 15 minutes and publish in three days.

Here is what happened in 15 minutes

The Time Valuer and the Technology Appreciator parts of me worked together and created two Draft Articles in fifteen minutes.

Yay! I too can batch and write. I am proud and happy that I moved out of my Fixed mindset of

I am not able to or I am not good at batching and writing OR It is not my intrinsic desire to batch and write Draft Articles.

To

the Growth mindset by taking the following actions:

Embracing my Time Valuer Part and giving a specific amount of fifteen minutes ONLY to write.

Setting a specific intention to write three Draft articles ONLY and not publish three articles.

Curiously discovered my Technology Appreciator Part and worked with it to use Mobile App and type my thoughts faster than using a Keyboard on a Laptop.

Understanding my Time Valuer Part and Technology Appreciator Part, being compassionate to each of my parts, and working with each other.

All the above steps and behaviors helped me move toward my goal of developing a new habit of batching and writing.

Have you experienced situations like this? How do you change from a Fixed to a Growth mindset when you get stuck OR when you shut down your Creative Part, saying

I can’t do this OR I am not good at this

In Part 3 (last part), I will share a few Youtube shorts that are inpirations and life transforming.

Before I let you go, I just want to share my baby like excitement to share my first Photo Story article that got my highest claps ( 500) in March 2023. It means a lot to me. Thank you, Mary Chang Story Writer for helping me get out of my comfort zone and try something new.
