Their decision? Return to the way it was before they realised that the changes were going to eat away at their profits. Fuck the writers. Profits are king! I think they can easily find a way to justify keeping the lion’s share of the money. The can blame the Canadian Prime Minister and Carbon Tax. Or, they can cite the fact that their favourite NHL team still hasn’t won a game.

In simpler terms — Make Medium Great Again with a reset.

I thought I would be upset with this discovery, but I’m not. I still make enough to pay for my monthly $5 charge and still pay for x amount of coffee. There are too many other things going on in the world that makes my concerns about Medium to be paltry.

I am so thankful that I am not caught up in military actions in the Middle East or in Ukraine. And, for the foreseeable future, politicians in Canada aren’t destroying the country. Oh, don’t think I am not worried in the long term, because I am. Populism is hell bent on breaking everything.

I mean, I can still go out into my backyard and BBQ a few sausages for a meal. I can still travel to a nearby city [160 km away] and do some shopping so that we can be prepared for our trip to Mexico at the end of November. And, I get to marry my first grandchild at the beginning of November.
