Is Elon Musk Getting Banned from Twitter?
Elon Musk thinks it’s funny to scrap the $44 billion Twitter deal, and as always entertains Twitter with a poorly-made meme of himself:
Musk, who finally pulled out of something, has tried to portray himself as a cool benevolent billionaire who has the best of humanity in heart. Some people even went so far to compare him to Iron Man, claiming that Elon Musk is the Tony Stark of our world right now. Musk actually appeared in Iron Man and met Tony Stark:

But Musk is by no means the Iron Man. The billionaire would rather pump and dump Bitcoin and manipulate Dogecoin’s price to burn millions of naive crypto-investors, than sacrifice himself to bring half the world’s population back to life:

From what I’ve read on the subject, here’s what happened with the Twitter deal:
- Musk needed to liquidate a huge portion of his Tesla stocks, knowing full well that Tesla is overpriced and is about to fall in the near future.
- But selling a huge share of stocks would be a self-fulfilling prophecy for the downfall of Tesla’s price, as shareholders would panic and start selling their shares as well.
- Buying a company seemed like a legitimate excuse to sell Tesla stocks without making the shareholders too worried.
- Twitter seemed like a good choice to fake-purchase because it hasn’t been doing well in the past year. Musk’s $44b offer would not give them any excuse to reject his offer.
- Twitter has also been receiving a lot of hatred due to its double standards when it comes to permanent bans and information censorship. Musk found the perfect narrative for purchasing the blue bird: He basically said all he wants is to protect the freedom of speech. Many people believed his bs, including many conservatives who are now shocked by Musk’s mockery of Trump.
- As any other human, Musk made a mistake and waived due diligence when signing the Twitter deal. Therefore, instead of claiming that Twitter has not demonstrated that their numbers (percentage of bots) are accurate, he now must prove that Twitter’s numbers are not accurate, which is much more difficult to do.
- Musk hopes that Twitter will be forced to provide the data on their mDAU (monetizable daily active users) in court. That said, the agreement doesn’t say that Twitter has a duty to provide that information as part of the agreement.
- In the worst case scenario for Musk, the Delaware court will force the deal to go through (it has been done before). In the best case scenario, he can get away with a $1b penalty. But the damages to his reputation already cost him much more than that…
- It seems Musk wants to prolong the legal battle with Twitter, making it too painful for them to continue.
What would happen if Twitter simply banned Elon Musk’s account? What other platform would the billionaire use for his propaganda? How else would he post his obnoxious ego-boosting tweets? Given his damaged relationship with Donald Trump, I don’t think the Truth Social would be an option, and starting his own social media costs him more than a fortune.
Way to go Elon Musk. The man destroyed all his reputation in less than a year by showing his true colors. I doubt the next company he decides to purchase will even consider the deal.
