Is There Ever A Time When Quitting Makes Sense?
Do you think quitting helps you to start the life you’ve always dreamed of?
All of us have those days — full of fear, skepticism, embarrassment, and lack of self-confidence. No matter how badly we strive to achieve those ambitions, there will be a time we will be discouraged and willing to accept the fact, that giving up is our only option.
There are times when we excel at things we never expected, and there are days we are not succeeding at things no matter what or how we execute. If you’re in a relationship that it’s sinking. Or a friendship that makes you frustrated every time. And your career is crumbling down. It’s okay to feel like we’re failing in every aspect of our life. Think of it, as a signal for us to take the next step in the biggest phase of our lives. An indication that will empower us to grow for the better.
Quit thinking about giving up is a terrible thing. Because sometimes you have to walk away and realize that you’re heading toward on the wrong path and need to take a different road, for you to reroute what you’ve been missing. Even though you feel guilty or regretful in times like this, just do it you don’t owe anyone to make up your own decision. What you are doing is for you to cultivate yourself into a better one. It is also your opportunity to showcase any aptitudes and pieces of knowledge that you have yet to discover.
After you made your choice, of giving up. I want you to take a moment and think about your decision. And ask yourself, is it really worth it? Getting rid of all the dilemmas and hardships we’ve been through? Leaving everything you’ve been dying to achieve? It’s tough, right?
Now, I am not one of the brightest people or even a psychologist who are experts about it. But I can assure you that giving up on yourself will bring no good in your life.
Here are some ways for you to never quit:
Keep Pushing Forward
“Life is about accepting the challenges along the way, choosing to keep moving forward, and savoring the journey.” — Roy T. Bennett
There’s a bunch of extraordinary things in our world that would never have been developed, and plenty of outstanding people would never have found accomplishment if they hadn’t kept climbing every moment they got torn down. The capability to keep moving forward in life vastly depends on your behavior. If you allow obstacles and weaknesses to destroy you, no improvement can be obtained. You know, it doesn’t matter how awful your life is. What matters is that you have the determination to keep pushing what you’re fighting for, even though many difficulties are hindering you.
Without Failure, There Would Be No Glory
“ Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fail.” — Confucius
Quitting does not show cowardice. We just don’t accept it because we’re afraid to look weak in front of other people. But despite that cowardliness, there is an endless strength. It is the power to show that we can overcome and accept our defeat. You don’t need to succeed in everything you do. Sometimes it’s enough for now that you strive hard and do your part. Then, try and live again another day, maybe your time has come for you to shine.
Appreciate Everything, Even The Little Things
“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” — Robert Brault
We must be grateful for everything we achieve, no matter how small or precious it is. Because at some point, it’s valuable and sentimental to us. Treasure everything even the people who are there every time to support and guide us to succeed in life. It is considered an accomplishment because not everyone has people with them when they are struggling. And when the time comes we seek to give up, we’ll realize those things that are always there and will empower us to continue living.
In my experience
I know we have different viewpoints and moralities in our lives, but the important thing I realized in my whole existence is giving up is not an option. Nevertheless, I always had a tough time achieving what I want in my life, yet it doesn’t mean that some kind of barriers or hurdles can stop me from fulfilling my ambitions. There were so many times I’ve been stumbled and discouraged. Telling myself to quit and forget about all of it. But I never quitted, I get back up and try again. It doesn’t matter how many times you fall, it’s how you rise up to face every challenge that comes in your way. You have to keep moving forward. There’s always a direction if you are eager to find a path. Never lose your willingness on what you hope for in life. Keep digging. Don’t hold back until you reach what you’re searching for.
