Is the Far Left Ruining the Democratic Party?

Growing up rather poor and going to public schools in Michigan I always viewed myself as a democrat, I aligned with the party on almost every single thing even if I some what disagreed.

(Because I thought that’s how it had to be)

It all started with a simple conversation my teacher had with our class in either the 2nd or 3rd grade, it was essentially a group activity where she explained a simplified version of democrats and republicans and had everybody pick one of the two.

To the best of my recollection she described republicans as being for businesses and using trickle down economics. Then she described the democrats as more so wanting to tax the rich and give it to the poor, of course being a public school in Michigan almost everybody including myself raised their hand for the democrats only a few sided with the republicans.

And that’s where it all started for me, luckily I consider myself to be a free or independent thinker one who broke out of the system before it could fully propagandize me with logical fallacies in support of it.

I like to think that I see the Democratic Party for what it truly is, which would be one of the biggest lies ever.

But as an independent thinker I know that I very easily could be just as wrong as anybody else, who is to say that anybody is wrong in this world for any idea ever? But if there is somebody it would be whatever “God” you worship, and that would be left up for them alone to decide and not anybody else.

With that being said I still consider myself to be a democrat but I’m starting to lean more towards being an independent, the far left is just making it extremely hard for me to say the party represents my views.

Here are some of the major issues I have with the new/far left Democratic Party but might agree with the Republican Party on.

1. Gun Rights

This is where my independent thinking comes into play, I disagree with both parties on this matter.

I think that the far left is completely out of bounds with the pure Nazi/Mao type behavior they have towards any type of firearm including a simple pistol. They have such an ignorant opinion on guns it is actually insane, most of them don’t even realize that a pistol and a rifle can essentially be the same thing.

In fact just for example I have a rifle and one of my friends has a pistol. Now his specific pistol holds more rounds, holds a more powerful round, shoots at the same speed and is easier to conceal then my rifle. But for some reason the far left will deem my gun as an “assault rifle” that is extremely dangerous and needs to be banned, when in fact anybody who is educated in firearms knows that the only thing I should hunt for with a rifle my size is a raccoon or a coyote.

Here’s a quote that might help explain why I think it is dangerous to take our guns away in America, besides just purely violating the basic rights we were founded on.

“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The Communist Party must command all the guns; that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party.”

The quote was from Mao Zedong, founder of Communist China. Mao’s first act after gaining complete control of China in 1949 was to take away all guns from the population. It was a policy he began in 1935 as he took over each rural province, anyone found with a gun post-confiscation was to be executed.

An estimated 65 million Chinese died as a result of Mao’s repeated, merciless attempts to create a new “socialist” China. Anyone who got in his way was done away with — by execution, imprisonment, or forced famine.

That is why even though I disagree with most republicans and want stronger mental health and background checks in place, a possible higher age requirement and more reg flag laws I can’t vote against them regarding the freedom of our guns.

2. Border Policy

While living in southwest Detroit my neighbor was an illegal immigrant, he was a very nice guy him and his whole family. Growing up I thought anybody who wanted to keep illegal immigrants out was probably just racist or all around hateful. Most likely because I believed everything the news said and most of it at the time happened to be trump being ridiculed as a racist for wanting border security.

Fast forward a couple years and I just got off a group call with Angela Stanton King who comes from one of the most culturally significant families in African American history and just so happens to be a republican. About how fentanyl is the leading cause of death in Americans age 18–45 and how we need to stop the flow of illegal migrants coming into the country with drugs. We’ve had more innocent Americans die of fentanyl than the Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam wars combined.

So there goes that whole argument for the democrats “only racists want to build a wall”, Americans could pay up to $451 billion to care for migrants who entered the US illegally, but have been released into the country or escaped from custody, according to a new report due out Monday from House Republicans and obtained exclusively by The New York Post. In case you can’t do the math that equals out to a $451,000 check for a million American families, or a $451,000 check for a million American public schools that sounds democratic to me.

Between 16.8 million and 29 million illegal immigrants currently reside in the US, according to estimates the committee cites from (FAIR) and Yale University, 3.8 million of which have entered since President Biden took office in January 2021.

Personally I love immigrants, maybe one day we can start allowing more people to legally come in. Currently only 30% of immigrants are Mexican the other 70% are coming from other countries.

So I think if we did what a lot of other countries do and had a safe first country policy, which would make people from South America seek refuge in the first safe country like Mexico, it would help out on the border crisis substantially.

Once again I love immigrants and I’m still a democrat but I also hate globalists. There is no way I can support free healthcare and free housing for all of those immigrants from other countries when I know dozens of people who need those same services. My old neighbor didn’t pay taxes as far as I know but he did the best he could for his family, he worked hard building our American infrastructure so I can’t be mad at him he was a great guy, but just like the police some are good and some are terrible human beings.

3. Transgenders

My personal opinion on the Democratic Party and transgenders is a perplex one but essentially to sum it up, I feel like they push the transgender and LGBTQ movement as a whole onto minors and others in a very uncomfortable way. That’s just my opinion maybe I’m just more of a traditional thinker.

And I don’t have anything against transgender people all though that’s what the far-left will say, in fact Chelsea Manning is one of my favorite people ever. I have so much respect her I would refer to her in any gender she requested, because I respect people by the content of their character not the way they look.

A large problem that I do have is that the democrats seem to be pushing the movement onto people at an alarming rate, and if you say anything about it that they deem to be offensive like accidentally misgendering them they go insane.

Or maybe let’s say you happen to share your opinion about how you don’t want your kid to be transgender, they will relentlessly ostracize you for your individual opinion. And you better not have a real job of any meaning or prestige because they will have you ripped from your board position so fast and sent into a corporate blackball never to be seen again, you’ll wish you played the game and stayed silent when they warned you to.

But forget about the gay pride flags hung up in California classrooms and the lack of regard for free speech, theres a lot more things then that. It’s also about the sex changing surgeries and puberty blockers being given to innocent children. Or the grown man beating your daughter up because he’s so mentally ill that he’s convinced that he’s a women with a whole new identity.

4. Tax Policy

Once again this is something that I happen to disagree with both parties on. But there are a couple of things in particular that pushes me away from the democratic way of taxing Americans. The first thing is the blatant disregard for anybody who worked hard enough to make a real source of income for themselves, when they should be fighting to lower taxes for everybody.

It all comes down to simple education because if they really knew how much of our tax dollars were wasted on globalist agendas. Like killing people in other countries, or building them back up after we bomb them to ashes or my favorite method of control spending tax money to prop up foreign dictators. Then they would probably adopt a completely different mindset on taxes.

As a country we should be paying more then $300 billion less a year in taxes, that’s a lot of money going back to American families and small businesses. But for some reason the democrats won’t ever have that happen on their watch. There’s a common thread that comes from both parties though and it is greed.

The far left is so out of hand they are starting to demand a socialist way of life, they are being blindly lied to by the leaders they put into power.

It’s like when Donald Trump said in a 2016 presidential debate, when asked if he used a $900 million dollar loss to avoid paying personal income tax. He said of course I do and so do all of Hilary’s donors a lot of them took massive write offs for depreciation the same way I did, which she allowed as a senator and will always allow because that’s what the people who give her all the money want.

One last example on how the far left has been lied to by their leaders is Nancy Pelosi. Besides her knowing about the NSA spying on Americans for years and doing nothing about it she was also a very profound stock market investor.

Which I have no problem with it’s just when she uses the same tactics to gain the system that would send a regular person in America to prison I find it to be really hypocritical. Her net worth is estimated to be at over $100 million dollars and most of it is from insider trading, so for people to somehow believe that she is fighting for people in poverty is a joke when in reality she belongs in a jail cell.
