Summary

The website content discusses the increasing tensions and military preparations among NATO countries, particularly Germany, Sweden, Finland, and Norway, in response to perceived threats of Russian aggression, with implications for global security and potential conflict.

Abstract

The article highlights concerns over Russia's potential military actions against NATO countries, particularly the Baltic States and Nordic nations. It references various intelligence reports and statements from defense officials suggesting that these countries are preparing for a possible attack. The piece also touches on the role of propaganda and disinformation campaigns, allegedly orchestrated by Russia and other countries like Iran, in influencing public opinion and weakening Western alliances. The political landscape in the U.S., with the potential return of Trump to power and his unpredictable foreign policy, is also presented as a factor contributing to the uncertainty. Furthermore, the article questions the nature of NATO's military exercises, whether they are purely defensive or a response to credible threats, and ponders the broader implications of these preparations for the safety of America and Europe, as well as the potential start of a third world war.

  • The article expresses apprehension about the possibility of Trump being re-elected in 2024 and making unpredictable foreign policy decisions, including potentially aligning with Russia against Europe.
  • The author points out that while NATO describes its military exercises as fictional games, the extensive preparations for war by multiple countries indicate a serious concern for a real threat from Russia.
  • The piece implies that the current global political climate, exacerbated by climate change and public anger, is conducive to the outbreak of another world war.
  • The author advocates for awareness and preparedness among the public, suggesting that people should have a plan in case of a major conflict.
  • There is a subtle critique of politicians focusing on international rivalries rather than the well-being of their own citizens.
  • The author appeals for support through a crowdfunding platform, emphasizing their reliance on writing as a means of survival due to personal disabilities.

Is Russia Preparing to Attack NATO?

Germany, Sweden, Finland have all been preparing for an attack…

For the past few weeks, I have seen continual references to the Baltic countries beginning to arm themselves. It appears that various intelligence services have documentation that Russia intends first to attack the Baltic States (Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia) and then the move to to Sweden, Finland, and Norway. Germany is also now preparing for war.

A warning to Swedes from two top defence officials to prepare for war has prompted concern and accusations of alarmism. Civil Defence Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin told a defence conference “there could be war in Sweden”. His message was then backed up by military commander-in-chief Gen Micael Byden, who said all Swedes should prepare mentally for the possibility. However, opposition politicians have objected to the tone of the warnings. Ex-prime minister Magdalena Andersson told Swedish TV that while the security situation was serious, “it is not as if war is just outside the door.” BBC

Interestingly, Putin has already started the propaganda war. A very successful propaganda war has been waged against first world allies, particularly America and Israel. For a decade now, publications like Russia Today and Al-Jazeera have been poisoning accessible minds to believe that there is something very wrong with white people, with Israel, and with various other things that I cannot mention without being sanctioned. This has resulted in a weakening of the first world (for lack of a better word).

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned of unspecified “problems” with Finland and said he had ordered the establishment of a new military district in regions bordering the Nordic nation. The comments, made in an interview to be broadcast on December 17, come as tensions climb between the two neighbors, a result of Russia’s February 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine and Finland’s subsequent decision to join NATO. If Trump gets into power in 2024, and his war chest is unknown whereas Biden’s is currently $117 million, he could make any crazy decision, including allying with Russia against Europe. Why, you would ask, is Biden so unpopular when he has done more than most to bring about a fairer administration? It seems that certain segments of the American population have been targeted (Cambridge Analytica style) to see no good in Biden. Some have switched their allegiance to Trump. This is not good.

If a spate of surveys over the last four months are to be believed, young voters aren’t just dissatisfied with Joe Biden — they’re switching to supporting Donald Trump. The youth defections have only amped Democratic anxiety ahead of a likely Biden-Trump rematch in 2024, but the shift is so large, and shocking, that some are exploring alternative explanations. After all, a Republican hasn’t won a majority of the youth cohort since the era of Ronald Reagan. And Biden’s numbers look like they are in freefall: How could Biden go from beating Trump by 21 points before the 2022 midterms and 10 points during summer 2023 to losing young people to Trump now? Social media, the left leaning press, and bots attacking rational voices and amplifying agreement, has seen to a ‘new’ way of seeing things. This way removes support from western governments, thereby opening doors to the world being led by countries like Russia and the Middle East. Iran has also played a part in paying for disinformation campaigns.

Iranian Regime Deploys Slogans, Disinformation Amid Attack On Israel. Off the beaten track of state-run propaganda, in an article on a slightly independent website, reformist figure Azar Mansoori tried to explain “Why Iranians no longer support the Palestinian resistance.” She pointed out that 45 years of government propaganda promoting the “resistance” has confined support for Palestinian movements to a few state-owned media outlets. She argued that the fervent pro-Palestinian rhetoric has waned due to the government’s double standards. Mansoori argued that while the government constantly lent political and material support to the Palestinian groups, it ignored the repression of Muslims in other parts of the world. The German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) are preparing for a “full-scale hybrid attack” against the eastern flank of the Born. This is what emerges from a “classified document — exclusively for official use” of the Berlin Ministry of Defense, which the newspaper “Bild” claims to have seen. This is a “training scenario”, according to which “an escalation between NATO and Russia”. In the text, entitled “Defense of the Atlantic Alliance 2025”, it is outlined “step by step, month after month”, how the aggressor country would proceed and how NATO should react. The war could break out in the summer of 2025, at the culmination of a series of developments triggered next February by the mobilization of 200 armed forces personnel in Russia. In the spring, encouraged by “faltering Western support” for Ukraine, Moscow is expected to launch an offensive in the former Soviet republic, with “great successes” by June. Russia would then carry out cyberattacks and other forms of hybrid warfare Estonia, Latvia e Lithuania. Source

How safe are America and Europe?

A week ago, I asked a question on Threads. The question was, “Should government tell you the bad news if it affects your life, or should they remain quiet because the ensuing panic would be worse than the bad news?”

About 90% of respondents said that they would want the bad news so that they could adequately prepare. As for the panic? I have often thought that it had nothing to do with widespread panic, and that the real reason was that the country wasn’t prepared.

I recall Trump saying that he knew that Covid was serious, but that he didn’t want anyone to panic. Subsequently, more people died in the States than anywhere else in the world.

It’s a fictional war — a preparatory game — says NATO!

Censor.net, a Ukrainian publication, says it’s a wargame, and the purpose is to test capability in certain areas. According to the mishmash of publications I read, in old days these wargames were against fictional countries. However, now they (apparently) create scenarios using actual countries with more realistic scenarios of what could happen.

If that is so, and it may well be that there are no indications of war with NATO by Russia, it begs the question why Finland joined NATO, and why there are preparations on the border.

Finland, incidentally, has been preparing since WWII for a nuclear attack. She has thousands of bunkers for her people — it is an awesome sight to behold.

My question is why, if all this is a fictional game, are so many countries preparing for war with Russia.

Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of the U.K. has warned that if Russia wins against Ukraine (and I think they might), Russia will not stop her invasion of other countries. A few hours ago, the UK deployed 20,000 troops to NATO for a military practice in case Russia invades. Likewise, the US has deployed troops to the area several times during the past eighteen months.

America has sent several groups of troops to various places in Europe during the past 18 months. This was a few weeks ago. Newsweek

Has WWIII started?

Have we been looking at the rumblings of war during the past eighteen months? Is this a preliminary exercise by states/countries/whatever like Russia, Iran, China, Palestine, and some others to portray their dominance and seek revenge for their mediocrity? It always surprises me how the politicians in various countries think it’s their job to vie against other countries when their real job is to ensure that their own people are well looked after.

In any event, it would be a good idea to get out of the way. What I’m trying to say is keep an eye open for this, and it might not be a bad idea preparing a plan if the proverbial hits the fanbelt. Together with climate change, the rage and anger that is currently affecting so many people, the last thing we need is yet another war. Yet, all things point that way.
