For many households, Medium was a full-time income source for women and a passive income for numerous freelancers. But the recent account suspensions and fraudulent activities have made writers fear to write on medium.

Writers on Medium live with constant unease, fearing the sudden suspension of their accounts and the loss of hard-earned earnings. Despite the platform’s potential for exposure and income, the looming threat of suspension casts a shadow over every keystroke and publication, leaving writers in a state of perpetual uncertainty.

I don’t know if we are missing any policies which I thoroughly read in Ripton Green article. His article gave a new perspective to think if we are being prevented from reaching the 1% earners on Medium.

I don’t know if Medium is actually suspending the accounts with some strong reasons for violating the policies or if is it just a heavy wave on all of us.

As a writer, it has made me think too much about it. I feel uncertain about the future according to this however I am not quitting writing on Medium but at the same time exploring the unfolding opportunities on other platforms as a writer.

Do share your thoughts about how would you take this event of account suspensions and recovery.
