Is It Fair That They Are Earning Money For That?
I wanted to stay quiet and didn’t want to write this article, but I can't stand it anymore.
I can’t watch each day as those who write 10 articles a day (using AI, of course) without any shame, take money from Medium members.
And that’s not all, folks!
Those same people are commenting on other's articles writing AI-generated comments, and pretending to care about words that each writer carefully writes and shares here.
They pour their deepest thoughts, feelings, and hearts into this platform yet they receive fake engagement due to money!
It is a disgrace to all writers!
If you read the whole story and write good job, great article, or something similar, I don’t care.
Maybe you need to rush somewhere, maybe you are interrupted, maybe you don’t know what to say, but you enjoyed reading.
It doesn’t matter because it is your genuine comment to the writer.
If you write something like this:
You are spitting on the writer's work.
If you are using ChatGPT to get ideas or help you with grammar or with some wording, I can understand that. But if you are using it to generate a whole article, I simply can’t.
I know every Medium member who is writing here is doing so because of money.
It is a good motivation, and let’s be real — we need money for living.
But if money is your only motivation, and you don’t enjoy writing at all, then
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?
Pack your AI stuff and leave!
Go write your blog or open a website and put there that artificial
S***. (excuse my language.)
We don’t need you here.

I want to interact only with genuine readers and writers.
I don’t need FAKE AI stuff!
