Summary

The web content discusses the controversy surrounding the addition of fluoride to public water supplies, weighing its dental benefits against potential health risks, including neurotoxicity and pineal gland calcification.

Abstract

The article presents a nuanced view of water fluoridation, a practice supported by American health agencies like the CDC and the American Dental Association for its effectiveness in cavity prevention. However, it also outlines concerns raised by environmental science experts and studies linking fluoride to health issues such as reduced IQ in children, neurodevelopmental disorders, and the calcification of the pineal gland, which could affect sleep and dream patterns. While the connection between fluoride and cancer remains under investigation, the article suggests that the safety of fluoride in water is still a subject of debate. For those wishing to avoid fluoride, the article mentions that common Brita filters are ineffective, and recommends reverse osmosis as a method for fluoride removal.

Opinions

  • The author suggests that fluoride in water may contribute to the calcification of intestines and other health issues.
  • There is an implied skepticism about the unqualified endorsement of fluoridation by health agencies, as indicated by the use of quotes around the word "safe" and "effective."
  • The article presents the viewpoint that fluoride may have spiritual implications by potentially hindering the function of the pineal gland, sometimes referred to as the "third eye."
  • The author appears to value individual choice in water consumption, as evidenced by the recommendation of reverse osmosis for fluoride removal despite its environmental impact.
  • The mention of a Chinese study and a 2014 study on neurotoxicants suggests a critical perspective on the widespread acceptance of fluoride in water supplies.
  • The article concludes with an open-ended question about the impact of fluoride on the body's ability to release DMT before death, indicating uncertainty and the potential for further research.

Is fluoride in the water a cancer-causing dream killer or cavity protector?

You probably drink it every day, and the answer will surprise you.

The best speech I ever listened to in my public speaking class was by an environmental science major, warning of the dangers of adding fluoride to water. The crux of the argument was that fluoride is good for your teeth, but when you consume it, it calcifies and hardens your intestines.

Fluoride occurs naturally in water, but many communities, including my hometown, add it to the water source. You consume fluoride in water, your body processes it, and deposits form in your teeth and bones. When you drink fluoridated water, water goes through your teeth and ultimately ends up in your organs.

American Health Agencies Support Fluoride in Water

But the CDC uses their favorite words, “safe” and “effective” to describe fluoridation in water. If you live in the United States, you likely drink fluoridated water. Fluoride is added to the public drinking water supplied to about 3 out of 4 Americans.

According to the American Dental Association, fluoride in water is the most efficient way to prevent cavities, one of the most common childhood diseases.

The Physical Effects of Fluoride in Water

Studies say that the “jury is still out” on the risk of cancer and fluoride in water. To some, that may be comforting.

A Chinese study found that children in high-fluoride areas had significantly lower IQ levels than those in low-fluoride areas- around 7 point IQ drop.

A 2014 study added fluoride to a list of neurotoxicants. Neurotoxicants are chemicals linked to neurodevelopmental disabilities like autism, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia. Neurodevelopmental disabilities are increasing in prevalence worldwide, although the cause is unknown.

Japan, Italy, Switzerland, and Western European countries do not use fluoridation in water sources.

The Spiritual Implications of Fluoride in Water

If you read spiritual literature or conspiracy theories, you will read that fluoride deposits concentrate and cause calcification of the Pineal gland. The Pineal gland is what is known as the third eye.

According to WebMD, when pineal calcification occurs, “the gland can become unable to produce melatonin.” Fluoride from water, and pesticides present in our food, concentrate in the pineal gland, promoting calcification.

The major hormone secreted by the pineal gland is melatonin. Melatonin regulates circadian rhythms and promotes a regular sleep cycle. The hardening of the Pineal gland could lead to sleep paralysis and other sleep disorders.

N, N-Dimethyltryptamine, also known as DMT, is an endogenous psychedelic that many believe releases from the Pineal Gland before death. People also take DMT recreationally to simulate the before-death experience.

Does the calcification of the Pineal gland impede your body’s ability to release DMT before death?

Many spiritual folks believe that fluoride inhibits your ability to dream or recall your dreams.

How to remove fluoride from water

If you are like me, you see no point in drinking water with fluoride added. I was disappointed to learn that Brita filters do not remove fluoride from water.

To remove fluoride from water, you need to use the reverse osmosis process. Reverse osmosis is a process that filters out minerals (even the good ones like iron and calcium) from a water source. Many bottled waters use reverse osmosis if the water does not come from a spring. Reverse osmosis attachments are not eco-friendly, as they dispose of a lot of water, and some people add these filters to a faucet in the home.

The bottom line is that the jury is still out on the addition of fluoride to drinking water.
