Is beauty everything?

You are walking on a street and you see someone beautiful or handsome. You want to talk to the person but the opposing forces of fear prevent you from telling them how attractive they are. Perhaps you overcome those forces and go up to tell the person you are gorgeous. If things go well, you might connect and go out on dates and become a couple and then get married.

Beauty is one of the things that attracts the significant other into finding a spouse. If you are a man, it might be the only thing for you to approach a woman. If you are a woman, not only you look for beauty in a man but whether he is confident, wears good attire, smells good, knows how to carry the conversation, what does he do for a living and most importantly is not an a**hole.

But here’s the thing…we might be attracted to that person but there’s always another beautiful face. If you are a man, you know this since you look at different women outside or online.

Perhaps beauty is not enough to make you attract the opposite sex. Again, attire matters, how you carry yourself matters, how you carry the conversation matters. And it can go between both sexes.

So how does beauty work?

Every person is beautiful. It comes differently. Beauty is, however, one of the reasons to look for your significant other. You can be beautiful but if you are a bad person then what’s the point.

Batman thought Miranda Tate was beautiful in The Dark Knight Rises. They even have sex. It turns out she was Talia al Ghul, Ra’s al Ghul’s daughter who wanted to fulfill her father’s dream of destroying Gotham and Bane was her accomplice.

Batman didn’t paid much attention to Selina Kyle who stole her mother’s pearls, his car and delivered him to Bane. She regretted doing that after seeing him beaten up by Bane. Batman forgives him after coming back to Gotham. She tells him to come with him and escape. When Batman flies to carry the bomb, she kisses him goodbye, also informing her love for him. In the end of the movie, we can see both Bruce and Selina sitting in a cafe.

You might be beautiful from the outside but if your actions are on the wrong end then what’s the point. You might be doing that because life got crap. We see this when bad things happen. People tend to rob and steal when the economy goes down or there’s a blackout. Others can only see what you’re doing, committing criminal acts. They cannot see why you’re doing it.

So is beauty everything?

It’s one piece of the puzzle. There are other factors that defines a person; character, personality, intelligence, confidence. Every person should pay attention to every detail. It’s what completes the puzzle.
