Irrefutable
A Feminist’s Anthem
When I walk into a room Do you tense up a little? Does my assertive smile Make you uncomfortable? Does it surprise you that I am smart, capable And also beautiful? That I’m nuanced in my speech And use “complex” words Like incontrovertible?
Does my ambition scare you? Maybe ‘cos yours is incomparable? Does it infuriate you, That I find your feigned superiority, Laughable? That to you, I’m unattainable? That I am all this and a she, Evidently formidable?
Am I intimi-da-TING? Or are you intimi-da-TED? Because My prowess, Eloquence, And intelligence Are absolutely
IRREFUTABLE.
