Summary

Intuition is a non-dualistic, unconditional form of understanding received through the solar-plexus mind, which is often misunderstood or misinterpreted by the intellectual brain's tendency to categorize experiences into polarities like good or bad.

Abstract

Intuition, as described in the provided content, is a neutral and unconditional form of perception that transcends traditional dualities such as good and evil, male and female, or positive and negative. It is received as feeling-tone vibrations in the solar-plexus mind, a part of our consciousness located near the belly, which is distinct from our intellectual brain. The content emphasizes that the essence of intuition is often lost when we attempt to interpret these vibrations using our brain, which imposes a narrative and polarizes the experience. Ideally, intuition should be acknowledged without judgment or doubt to preserve its unconditional nature. The text argues that the intellectual brain, much like a binary computer, is limited to dualistic thinking and categorizes experiences as good or bad, preventing a holistic understanding. The author advocates for a balance between the intellectual brain and the solar-plexus mind to fully benefit from intuition, suggesting that our overemphasis on intellectual understanding has led to the atrophy of our intuitive capacities.

Opinions

  • Intuition is a pure form of feeling that is inherently unconditional and should be experienced without judgment or polarization.
  • The solar-plexus mind is capable of perceiving the wholeness and oneness of experiences, contrasting with the dualistic approach of the intellectual brain.
  • The process of intellectualizing intuition leads to a fractured perception, as the brain attempts to categorize experiences into binary opposites like good

Intuition

What does it have to do with our belly?

Intuition is neither positive nor negative; neither good nor bad, neither male nor female. It just is. It is unconditional.

Where do we receive intuition? Through the solar-plexus mind (the other gray matter located just above our belly buttons) and we receive it in the form of unconditional feeling-tone vibrations. We receive it as feeling (as opposed to thoughts or emotions) and we then proceed to come up with a brain story to explain the feeling. It is in this process that the feeling-tone vibrations become fractured and polarized and take on perceptions of duality. (Of course it is just our perceptions that become polarized.)

The ideal situation would be to let the intuitive feeling-tone vibrations in but to leave them as such and not put them through the brain process. The second we judge an intuition it is no longer unconditional and it becomes polarized. The second we doubt an intuition it is no longer unconditional and it becomes polarized. Once we have polarized an intuition we then spend our time trying to categorize those polarities and aligning ourselves with one or the other. This prevents us from understanding the totality of the intuitive message. We are so busy judging things as either good or bad that we have set up a mental block which prevents us from truly feeling the feeling.

Good and bad are dualistic polarities; they are two sides of the same coin. If we only see good then we are only seeing half the picture. If we only see bad then we are only seeing half the picture. Our attempt to intellectualize intuition is our attempt to find the full meaning of the coin by looking at only one side. Naturally, in this dimension, the coin of good and bad would be spinning furiously so you could not see either side of it. You’d see it as ONE object. It is our brains that try to stop the coin from spinning so that it can align itself with one of the two sides.

If we see the coin as spinning and ignore the polarities in order to see the oneness of it, then we can feel all the information contained in that coin in its totality without getting caught up in one or the other of the polarities which prevent us from seeing the totality. Our solar-plexus mind is specifically designed to do this, but we have trained ourselves to rely solely on our intellectual brains to translate feeling-tones. Like computers, the intellectual part of our brains is binary or duality-based. Our brains interpret and categorize according to polarity alignments. Everything has to be either good or bad so the brain knows where to file it. Because of this, we can never see the totality and wholeness of anything just using our brains.

The noggin brain and the solar-plexus brain were designed to work together in harmony but we have put 99.9999% of our focus on the noggin brain, allowing our solar-plexus brain to atrophy, thereby cutting ourselves off from the full benefit of intuition.
