Introduction to “THE CROWN”

When I joined Medium, I was very excited. I saw lots of publications. I noticed that they were focussing on many specific topics. This thing is good as readers can easily find the publication according to their interest. What I understood that each publication is focussing on a specific group of readers and publishing stories for them.

But after a few months, I found that there is no well-known publication that has every type of story. So I thought what if we have a publication that will publish stories for every reader! What if we create a publication that’ll have every type of stories. On that purpose, I created THE CROWN to write for every reader to creates a big community between readers and writers.

The Crown is built on 3 motos. And we want to work on those to create something different from others. Here are them:

Made for Everyone

As we want to have all types of stories, we need all types of writers. That’s why we say the crown is made for everyone. No matter what you like to write. No matter what your writing experience is, you are invited to the crown. Maybe what you are writing will create a new interesting topic among readers which wasn’t in the medium in the past. So here you have no boundaries. Write whatever you want.

Say for Everyone

We want this publication to become the voice of the world. How? By creating a big writer community. We want writers from every corner of the world so that they become the voice of everyone. Writers with different perspectives can say different stories. And if we have that variation, we’ll have the readers with various interests too.

Write for Everyone

As I told before we are welcoming all readers. Visit us, find your interest, and stay with us to find more. We are trying to build an all in one publication so that readers can also meet with the readers having different interests. So that readers can also discuss many things in themselves.

Exceptional

We don’t have any specific audience and that’s making us exceptional from others. But we are planning to do something more exceptional! When we will have a big community of different audience we’ll create a platform on slack with the readers where readers will able to know about each other and there they’ll have a chance to talk with the editors and top writers of the publication. Also, we already have a communication platform on slack for the writers so that we can help each other to enhance our writings skill.

How to write for THE CROWN

To become a part of our big dream all you have to do is fill-up the form attached in the following story. Then wait for a few hours and you’ll become a part of our journey

Point to be noted

We are still at the beginning of our dream. We don’t have enough writers. So now we are not able to cover every topic. But with the help of yours, we can turn our dream into reality. If we start working with full dedication and determination together from the beginning, I believe that it is not so hard. So start the journey with us. One day, we’ll reach our destination.

How we are doing this?

Maybe you are thinking about how we can bring all the topics in a single publication? Well, After observing many topics and stories on medium what we brought all the topics in six different segments:

1. ARTS Things that have creativity is art. And if you are writing something creative, or expressing any kind of ideas we’ll count it as art. For example, when you are writing fiction that’s a creative thing. So we are putting it under the “ARTS” segment.
2. ENTERTAINMENT This is easy to understand. Anything you are writing what is joyful or giving a review on something like a movie or book is a part of this. Not only them anything you write that is entertaining will be the part of this segment.
3. BUSINESS & ENTREPRENEURSHIP Let’s talk about productivity, personal development, financial growth, entrepreneurship or anything related to business and entrepreneurship is the part of this segment. So don’t waste time. Join us and share your ideas of growth with everyone.
4. SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY Everybody likes science and technology. More or less. But everybody likes it. So anything related to science, invention, technology, gadgets, programming, web designing, graphics designing, or anything related to them is the part of this segment.
5. LIFE & SOCIETY Write that will change will life. Write for other people. Write to society. Or anything you want to tell people from your perspective of life will go here. If you are writing life advice, giving life lessons, or parenting tips is a part of “LIFE & SOCIETY”
6. TRUE WORDS We believe what writes write and say is true. Every single word of a writer is important. So when a writer is giving an opinion it is also important. If a writer wants to tell something different that is important. To help them and highlight them we created this segment called “TRUE WORDS”. Another interesting thing is we are using true words as a tag of those writing. And no other stories on medium using this tag. So that makes us different.

That’s all about us and our publication. It’s time to unite all writers and readers together. Because together we can do something great!
