Introduction to “Music that matters to us”

When you are writing on Medium, having a publication of your own is a good marketing strategy for your name. I love writing here on Medium, and I am interested in a lo to f things. So, I have seven publications. One of them is “Music that matters to us”.
Dr Mehmet Yildiz challenged us again. This time marketing our own publications. He is so generous by giving us space in his publication, and let us promote our own work, publication, and even when it is not written in ILLUMINATION. I love that. That is why I write here because it is a very warm writing family.
The purpose of the publication
This is what I want with Music that matters to us: “Playing an instrument is good for you. Listening to music is good for you too. Being involved with music somehow is good for you as well. Writing about music is fulfilling too. Write anything that matters to you that has to do with any kind of music. It could be tips, experiences, everything that has something to do with any kind of music. Please, keep your articles open to everyone.”

The target audience
The target audience is a hundred active writers next year, at least 20 more followers (maybe more).

I have mentioned it a lot, but playing the violin is a big part of my life. I am playing in an orchestra. As a child, I have played in a lot of orchestras too. Playing in big concert halls was an amazing experience.
Alex Richards wrote a piece about tuning without a tuner. I have learned to do that in my youth. But when you haven’t then this piece you must read. He made a good point and explained it very well.
When you don’t know when to start to play an instrument, then I wrote a piece on what to look for. I started at an early age but starting at the age of 40 is fine too.
You don’t have to play an instrument to know how to listen to music, or the same music played by different musicians. In the beginning, it could be overwhelmed, or you don’t know where to start. then this guide is a start.
