Defining Human Capital

In simple terms, human capital represents the capabilities and abilities of people to generate value. Each person is a valuable asset, capable of being hired and invested in, regardless of material attributes. This means that each human being has value and deserves investment only on the basis of his or her talents, skills and credentials.

Mande Network’s objective

Mande Network seeks to build a “Human Capital Network” on blockchain, allowing decentralised applications (DApps) to invest directly in human potential. The network aims to change the way people perceive the value of individuals, creating an environment where talents, credibility and skills can be tokenised and used to generate financial opportunities.

Key Applications in the Human Capital Network

Finance

Inspired by Muhammad Yunus’ Grameen Bank, which offers micro-credit without collateral, Mande Network enables “Micro-Finance” protocols using scoring algorithms similar to Proof-of-Credibility, along with technologies such as SBTs (Soulbound Tokens), DiDs (Decentralised Identifiers) and VCs (Verifiable Credentials).

Justice

Currently, blockchains rely heavily on oracles to receive real-world data, which limits the automatic execution of smart contracts for specific use cases. Mande Network uses its human capital network to create a “quorum of judges” that provides accurate data to smart contracts, enabling automatic execution based on real inputs.

Education

DeEd (Decentralised Education): Many students in developing countries are faced with archaic education systems and limited resources. Mande Network provides the technology for incentivised “learn-to-win” protocols, connecting students in these countries with credible educators worldwide.

Human IPOs

An innovative concept where individuals can tokenise their talents, credentials and credibility to sell their own tokens, similar to shares in listed companies. This opens up the possibility to invest directly in the potential of individuals through blockchain.

Increase your credibility score and earn more rewards. Ask your friends to bet their $MAND tokens on your address. The more tokens you receive, the better your credibility score. Use this interface to stake your friends and help them increase their credibility score as well.

1. Log in to the dashboard.

2. Click on Earn $MAND.

3. Perform the 3 steps.

4. Connect to Twitter.

5. Connect your MetaMask wallet.

6. Claim the airdrop (note that they are worthless testnet tokens).

7. Check your wallet.

Credibility Staking

Increase your credibility and get more rewards.

1. Go to the staking section.

How is credibility calculated?

When a friend stakes 25 $MAND in your direction, you get √25 = 5 credibility points.

Quadratic voting rewards more people who support you over the tokens that are bet on you. For example, if a friend bets 100 $MAND tokens on your address, you get √100 = 10 credibility points, but if the same 100 $MAND tokens are bet by 4 different friends at $25 each, you get 4*√25 = 20 credibility points.

2. Enter your stake address, the amount and click on Stake.

3. The dashboard will show the amount staked from MAND and your current balance.

You now have your credibility score! Now encourage all your friends to stake at your address to increase your credibility balance and get more profit on your personal human capital.
