My vision for this endeavour is to shed light on the writer’s experience through thought-provoking questions.

Questions to Connections with Erica Marie is a collection of interviews with the writers on Medium. I get to know them on a deeper level by uncovering aspects of their lives that made them who they are today.

Because buried in their answers are beautiful stories that can inspire others.

Our struggles manifest in different ways, but the universal emotions we feel are how we weave our experiences together. This is how we relate to other people’s stories – and everyone’s story matters.

During our conversation, we don’t talk about their writing background. We will not cover topics such as their journey on Medium, advice for other writers, or how to be successful on this platform.

When people write, they often share a snippet of their lives, exposing their vulnerability by opening up to their readers.

I dive deeper into their narratives and bring the readers along from questions to connections.

Working with these writers this past month has been a privilege. Their heartfelt stories truly moved me and made me reflect on different areas of my life. From the importance of overcoming insecurities to the journey towards self-love from years of neglect, these are some of the stories we will be diving into in this series.
