Introducing My Publication — Share Your Creativity

Do you wish you were creative?

I have a secret to share with you!

You Are Creative!

Yes, YOU.

The one that is reading this article!

I know you might not think you are, but you are.

How you do your hair is creative.

How you cook your meals is creative.

How you make your bed is creative.

How you organize your house is creative.

How you decorate your house is creative.

EVERY SINGLE THING WE DO IS CREATED BY US!

So, by default, we are ALL creative!

I am jumping off the deep end and am starting a new publication! I want to inspire you to be creative, and I want people to share how they are creative in their lives.

Did you make an amazing meal?

Sew a beautiful quilt?

Maybe you painted a rock?

Or danced a funky jig!

If you made it, you created it, and I want to see it! Plus, so do others!

So let’s make this a fun space to share our creativity so that we can inspire others to also share their creativity!

We are ALL CREATORS! Let’s share it and help others to find their gifts of creativity in the world!

I CAN’T WAIT to see what you come up with!

As I am new to the publication world, it may take me a little while to get posts organized, but I’d like to lay out a few ground rules at the beginning.

  1. No submitting profanity, nudity, or hate imagery of any kind.
  2. I realize that writing and poetry is creative, but there are lots of different publications for those. I would like to keep this strictly for visual creativity. I also only accept photographs that have been visually altered in an artistic way.
  3. You can put a link in your post to a website for purchasing your item (if relevant) but I don’t want your whole article to be a personal advertisement. Use your own discretion.
  4. Please consider that this publication aims to inspire people to get creative. So let’s keep it light and upbeat. No articles about ‘starving artists’ or other bad mojo please:)
  5. Be nice to people's posts. If you don’t have constructive criticism, or something nice to say, don’t comment! We are here to encourage and uplift! Thank you!
  6. Tag your post with relevant tags like ‘creative’, ‘creativity’, ‘art’, ‘inspire’, ‘get creative’. And use ones to describe your medium such as ‘cake decorating’, ‘weaving’, ‘pottery’, ‘dancing’, etc.
  7. Medium rules rule! Please put an appropriate title and an optional subtitle, and keep them relevant to your article.
  8. Please include at least one photo of your creation.
  9. Have fun and get creative!

To become a writer for this publication, please comment below with your Medium handle (mine is @artisticvoyages , for example), and I will add you as a writer!

I truly look forward to seeing what you all create, and can’t wait to share it with the world!

Let’s get creative!

Much love,

Jill xoxox
