Welcome to a publication that truly welcomes every skill level of writers: new, hobbyists, intermediate, advanced. Hell, we’ll even accept Stephen King if he wants to join the club.
The number one rule of Braised & Blanched Publications is you have to be receptive to editor’s notes and corrections, and other writer’s articles. Why is this such a big thing?
I started the beginning of my time on Medium expecting something that I wasn’t getting…advice from more experienced writers and editors. Understand what I mean by this…
No matter how much I read, no matter how much I write, receiving feedback from readers and editors truly gives you insight. For those of you who wish to join a publication that won’t shelf your articles but give you some great feedback, please join Braised & Blanched Publications.

Braised & Blanched is known as a cooking term. In order to braise meat, you have to slowly sear and roast it. In order to blanch vegetables, you quick steam then quick cool to empty the impurities that may be invading foods. Each of us has been through a braised & blanched process in our life where we have been tried, tested, and have come out better and more resilient. Let’s write about it!
