My first book was published in 1995. My second book in 2001. Since then my words have been circulated in several other books and art exhibitions. Although my major studies were about History of Art & Philosophy, somehow the traveler inside took the best of my existence and constantly gave me the best reasons to travel. And I did travel all around the world.
Well, my tired feet have cross 191 countries until this day. The Philosophy Degree helped me to fulfill this achievement with an open mind, always full of curiosity for each new country. Gradually the geographical map looked friendlier as each country had new pins of new friends, as I call them, my global family-friends. My bucket list has three lines to complete the spinning around the globe: visit Australia, New Zealand and North Korea.
Design & Marketing U-Turn
Graphic Design & Interior Design entered my interests in my early youth years. Got a college degree in both and started working in the field of Design. But Marketing got my attention early for one of my projects. Without any hesitation, my steps grew bolder in a combination of professional services providing Interior Design, Graphic Design and Branding for companies and individuals. It was that point where Marketing stole my heart.
The process of creating the Branding ID and the business copy, the challenges of promoting our clients’ products, the rise of websites and the need to go beyond sales & contracts, made me turn in a new direction. Digital Marketing was my call and in 2000 the Marketing Agency IDEADECO was born.
In the beginning, we were only 2 people running the entire agency and today we have active collaborations all over the world. Digital Marketing Strategy, SEO, Copywriting, Blogging, Branding, Web Design and Content Marketing are our main services.
My Stories Have Something to Say
My stories talk about the journey in the magnificent world of SEO, Copywriting, Branding, Blogging, Marketing Strategy, Social Media, Communication, Philosophy & Ethics, Content & Email Marketing but with a twist of a controversial approach.
Between travels and blogging, many Conferences have invited me to speak and share my knowledge about my favorite topics in SEO, Copywriting and Digital Marketing.
Instead of pushing forward the myth of FOMO, my stories (and my life path) prove that all great things take time, they have their own pace. That’s the reason I write my stories: to unveil the collateral beauty around us when we enter a slow pace mindset.
Take your time. After all, it’s all that really matters in life. Right?
About Areti Vassou
I was born in Germany, moved to Greece as a child with my family and I have a never-ending passion for painting, music and languages. I speak 5 languages and now learning Japanese. My friends know that my soft spot includes cats, books, chess, sudoku, baking wedding cakes and swimming in the Aegean Sea.
If we stuck together in the elevator, most probably my stories would calm you down and we will end up becoming friends. Also, I always carry with me: fresh-baked cookies, water, an extra power bank, sudoku and a box of soft painkillers. Based on a true story!
To make my long story, short, here is my elevator pitch: “ Yes, everything is doable when you are fascinated by the miracle of life. And I am always curious what’s in the next corner. Let’s dance!”
