My Weekly WTA: What The Ah-ha Moments — Issue 6

I wanted to do shoutouts to authors, and I was going to do it in a newsletter, but everyone is doing one of those, it seems. I recently deleted most of the ones I subscribed to and didn’t even read the ones I think are stellar.
I decided that starting my own was not the best investment of my time. However, I still wanted to put together a piece highlighting things I learned or authors that made me laugh hysterically -in a good way.
With November officially over, we move into December, inching closer to celebrating Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, and Christmas.
This leads me to my first read to share that makes me go 😂
This story had me laughing from start to finish. I never thought much about the toxic work environment that poor old St. Nick might be experiencing.
But lucky for us all Susan Scandiffio did. If you want your belly to shake like a bowl full of jelly, read this 🎅
The next two will have you seriously going 🤔
First up is by Shanti C K, who tells the poignant story of being the firstborn in her family with a younger sister.
I could relate to so much of this story, being a firstborn myself with a younger brother.
If you want to experience a heartfelt tale that’s relatable, I highly recommend this one:
This second piece by Charlie Brown explores the symbolism behind her bangs and how childhood experiences can leave a lasting impact, persisting for years and even decades.
She discusses the profound meaning they held and the transformative power of moving on.
This next one will probably having doing a little of this 😊 and some of this 😂
It’s a sweet story about her son and the bond they share. Even at 5 years old, he was wise beyond his years.
If you want a little tug at your heartstrings, then give this one a go by Kristy C:
Finally, my last pick will have you doing a lot of this 😂 in only 150 words
This one by Phyllis Haynes had me rolling. I could not believe how much of a story she packed in 150 words.
It was beyond impressive and funny as all get out.
