Sharing some interesting findings

I love flower arrangement. I don’t buy expensive flowers but put together vases with seasonal blossoms and foliage. It’s very satisfying. You see here hibiscus, zee palm, and bird of paradise.
Jacaranda is just a legume plant, but in summer, it turns surreal purple. It’s spectacular. To that, you see hummingbird sipping from the flowers right in your backyard! It’s heaven.

Cobwebs are tenuous and often invisible. But that morning, it was foggy. The moisture-studded cobweb was distinct as if a spider was crocheting. Observing such wonders of nature keeps me happy!

The oleander tree has lovely leaves and cheerful yellow trumpet flowers, But the plant is toxic. It has cardiac glycosides called thevetin and neriifolin. They are poisonous to humans. In fact, our school campus in India had one. We were aware of the toxicity and stayed away. Goats enjoyed the fruits.
When I saw this tree in my neighborhood in California, I was so excited. Isn’t it nice to see objects that stir nostalgia?

Society garlic is a drought-tolerant plant. I often see it in landscaping. They are said to deter pests due to their obnoxious, pesticide-like smell.
