Abstract

The webpage titled "Intentional Tuesdays" encourages readers to live a more intentional life by making conscious decisions that align with their values, purpose, and intuition. It suggests considering a situation where one might have rushed to say "yes" without truly wanting to and provides five questions to help reflect on such situations: "What does my intuition say?", "Does this align with my values?", "Does this align with my purpose?", "Am I saying yes out of love or fear?", and "Would I say yes to this if I knew no one would be disappointed?". You can inspire so many just by being yourself.

What does it mean to live intentionally?

In short, it means knowing our worth, beauty, value and strength, while making a conscious decision every day to live life how we want. To do everything with a clear purpose and dismiss any mindless activities. To say “bye bye” to autopilot and “hello” to mindful us.

We are imperfect humans and living intentionally doesn’t come easy. We seek perfection because it somewhat protects us from the pain of failure, but in truth, this search actually cuts us off from the possibility of embracing the full spectrum of our humanness. It cuts us off from the possibility of being purposeful and from embodying the essence of who our soul knows us to be.

Intentional Tuesdays are all about taking the first steps towards living a more intentional life, entering infinite opportunities and exploring spaces of limitlessness. These prompts are all about feeling into the life we are here to live and allowing it to expand beyond us.

Today I want you to think and write about a very specific situation that you have rushed to say “yes” to in the past, even though it wasn’t what you truly wanted. Or, you can think of a current situation that you’re still pondering on what the best way to respond to is.

Here are the questions I want to encourage you to consider:

  1. What does my intuition say?
  2. Does this align with my values?
  3. Does this align with my purpose?
  4. Am I saying yes out of love or fear?
  5. Would I say yes to this if I knew no one would be disappointed?

Feel free to share your stories in any format you like and submit them whenever you feel ready (if this new format of the weekly inspiring prompts resonates with you.) Just because this is a different type of prompt to what you’ve gotten used to, doesn’t mean creativity isn’t welcomed — it just means we’ve got new territories to explore!

I am looking forward to reading everyone’s magically crafted pieces of writing! I am also excited about releasing “Appreciative Thursdays” in two days time.
