Intent Influences The Energies You Give Out
I didn’t know I was a baker.
My wife is the Cookie Queen. Her mom made the best Chocolate Chip Cookies. She didn’t have a special recipe. She took it right off the package.
What was her secret?
She knew her oven. What temperature worked best and how long.
There was another thing. She mixed them by hand. This seems trivial but it makes a difference. Something about how long it takes to get everything to the right consistency.
One of the ingredients not listed on the package was love. She loved making them. It gave her Joy. It was for the people she loved. Her intent was for all who ate them to have great pleasure.
Her intent went into every one of them.
She touched each one of them. Everyone who ate one sensed something special.
It took a while but my wife figured out by watching and helping over the years the methods her mom used.
When her mom passed one of the things everyone missed was her cookies. At first, hers were never quite as good. All the kids tried but never the same. They all remembered how good Granny’s cookies were. They all wanted to know the secrete.
When making cookies if you put your intent into them you influence the energies they give out. They bring back memories. Some you didn’t even know you had.
My wife was working and the grandkids wanted cookies.
I’ll help and we will do it. I never made cookies myself before. One of the kids did the mixing. I told him he could not use the mixer because Grammy was working and we had to be quiet. We followed the recipe on the bag of chocolate chips. We had the ingredients.
I know my oven. I do most of the cooking. We eat good at Papa’s house. My wife told me times and technique.
Anticipation for those cookies brought back memories. I wanted to live up to those memories so I put my intent for them not to be as good as GG’s but to be as satisfying. It felt like she was looking over my shoulder while baking them.
They turned out great.
I didn’t know I was a baker but with GG’s help I did OK.
