Instantaneous
A poem inspired by messaging apps

World has become a global village with never seen before connectivity. More than 7 billion people can connect through free messaging apps. Distances of thousands of miles can be covered in a few seconds. Monopolies over dominating tools of communication have riled up the furious competition.*
WhatsApp is an ad-free app with over 2 billion subscribers closely followed by Facebook Messenger. Regional favourites give tough competition like WeChat is popular in Asia and Telegram** in preferred Europe. Teenagers love the versatility of Snapchat for video conversation and Line*** app for video games with messaging. People interested in group chats over 50 people opt for KIK where everyone has a username without the hassles of working phone numbers.
With so many options it is unprecedented, yet some of us feel disconnected. Universality of human connection is still non-verbal nodes expressly freely by a smile. Meaningful conversations can be short to show love, compassion, and trust. Use any messaging app Viber, BBM, IMO, QQ, or Kabaotalk**** today to tell someone is loved, cared for, and missed.
