Instant Manifestation Fantasy

A fun little mind game

Just for fun, imagine a world in which every single solitary thought you ever had instantly manifested.

You think about a brand new sports car and POOF! the sports car instantly appears in your driveway. You think about having a billion dollars and POOF! the money instantly shows up on your dining room table spilling down on to the floor. You think about the chocolatey deliciousness of a Toblerone bar and POOF! a Toblerone chocolate bar instantly appears in your hand. Then you change your mind and think you’d rather have a Snickers bar and POOF! the Toblerone bar instantly turns into a Snickers bar. You start feeling a bit randy so you start thinking thoughts of a hot sexy naked person and POOF! a hot sexy naked person instantly appears and she or he beckons you into the bedroom.

You start thinking about that bully person you’ve always hated. They were always so mean to you. So you think thoughts of their head exploding and POOF! their head explodes and they die. You think thoughts of some political leader you can’t stand and in your thoughts you see them being assassinated. POOF! they are instantly assassinated. You think about all the many people who did not show you the respect you felt you deserved and in your thoughts you see them as changing and coming back to you, getting down on their knees, and bowing in subservience to you. POOF! hundreds of people are suddenly on your front lawn in prostration to you calling out, “Oh lord and master you are the greatest and we love you!” You are running in a fifty-yard dash and there is one runner ahead of you. You think about them falling and POOF! they fall down and you win the race.

Would this fantasy reality be desirable to you? Or would you find it very scary? In this reality how careful would you be with your thoughts?

Of course, we don’t live in a reality like that. Our thoughts don’t instantly manifest. The average human has between 50,000 and 75,000 thoughts during the course of one day. Can you imagine what a profoundly chaotic nightmare it would be if every single thought instantly manifested?

But what if our thoughts really did manifest — only not instantly? Because of the very denseness of our seemingly physical reality combined with the sheer number of thoughts, there is created a lag time between thought and manifestation. What if each of our thoughts go out into the infinite field of possibilities to be manifested but the thick soup of gazillions of other thoughts slows our thoughts down and creates a lag time — sometimes months or years or lifetimes — before our thoughts can find the possibilities through which to manifest? We could think a thought and forget about it and then POOF! fifty-four years later the thought finally manifests.

In this type of reality would we be inclined to be much LESS careful about what we think?

When we step back from our noisy noggins into the observer mode of our true self we can observe our thoughts and not just habitually and semi-consciously think them. That is when we can start consciously directing our thoughts and start POOFING a truly wondrous and joyful reality.
