Summary

The website content presents an acrostic one-line poem titled "INSPIRATION" that metaphorically describes the inner source of peace and love within each person as a river overflowing with love and sparkling lights, akin to stars in the night sky, contributing to the ongoing creation of a new Earth.

Abstract

The poem "INSPIRATION" is an acrostic where each line starts with a letter from the word "INSPIRATION." It uses vivid imagery to convey the idea that within every individual, there is a wellspring of life-giving water that brings peace and love into our existence. This inner source is likened to a river that overflows with affection and is filled with the brilliance of twinkling stars. The poem suggests that this inner reservoir of positivity is not only a personal experience but also part of a larger, collective process of shaping a better world or "New Earth." The author expresses gratitude to Bob Jasper for introducing them to the acrostic form combined with the conciseness of a one-liner poem, which has become one of their favorite poetic expressions.

Opinions

  • The author appreciates the acrostic form and the challenge it presents, as well as its combination with the brevity of a one-liner poem.
  • The poem reflects a positive and almost spiritual outlook on the potential for inner peace and love to contribute to a greater good, referenced as the "New Earth."
  • The author acknowledges the influence of Bob Jasper in their exploration and enjoyment of this particular poetic form.

Thank you, Bob Jasper, for the invite and challenge of this wonderful acrostic form… and added to one of my favorite forms of sheer brevity: the One-Liner!
