Insignificant Dust Mites

A poem on perspective

Floating above clouds, marveling at creation

I get lost in thoughts unbounded.

Majestic mountain ranges dressed in fluffy clouds

Seem so insignificant in totality of our Universe

Shadows on land below do not match forms above

Each one different and yet, each one uniquely the same

My 747 soars like an eagle, soaring oh so high

Small dots of cloud are smoke signals from God, saying:

How little do you comprehend, lost in your egocentric world

Masters of your destinies are you, or insignificant dust mites?
