Order placed at dawn, Tired eyes bounce to dream world — blink, Sleep body, woke mind
Jazzy cuddles feet, Causing my ankles to ache, Stretch legs to freedom
Alarm blares loudly, Groceries are coming soon, Sleep mind, woke body
Notifications, Ringing ears to consciousness, A substitution
Approve, yes, approve, Paranoia– recall? A quick Google search
Product was recalled, Fortunately, not my state! Safe for consumption.
One of my items was substituted in my online grocery order. And without thoroughly researching that product, I approved it instead.🤦🏾♀️
Sleep mind, Woke body.
However, due to my acute paranoia because of the large number of products that were recalled this year, I just couldn’t help myself. I try to prioritize my health above other things in life which is the best form of self-care and love💖!

Thankfully, the contaminated products were recalled in several other states apart from my own. So, for the ones who are interested in what this product is👉🏾: Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage
Someone reportedly discovered a bone blended into their meat product which earned that person an oral injury…ouch!
I’m so happy I avoided that.
This is a reminder to remain vigilant for recalled products, especially consumable items for you and your pets!
What I really want to know is:
How often do you check your purchased items for recent recalls?
And for the ones who don’t check at all, I would love to hear your perspective on this.
