Humans constantly seek projects or activities to improve themselves

The world moves at a fast pace that you constantly run to catch up

Today’s achievement becomes soon forgotten

In the constant struggles to prove we are enough

Not only to ourselves

But to society at large

Nothing will ever be enough or fill that void

That there is so much we are missing out

However, there comes a point when we reach our destination

Our life fulfillment which is not dependant on society

But a deep sense of peace and contentment

It could be doing a selfless deed

Holding your newborn baby

Giving up a job that grieves you

In pursuit of something else

Beyond yourself

That’s when you know

When your happiness is not dependent on people’s opinion or approval

Now you dictate your actions

And the world gladly awaits your great deeds

That’s when you know you have found inner happiness
