Influence of the nature

Since a few weeks, I’m trying to inhale the beauty of nature.

Image: Agnes Laurens, in Germany last summer.

Going outdoors and think of everything that’s happening in my life! And that’s too much. While I was in therapy a few months ago, I was a mess and still, I am. I have a lot on my mind or I feel negatively through my body. And that is because of the situation I am in right now. I feel very down and depressed, but at the same I don’t feel like that. That is a very weird feeling. Also a weird feeling is not being able to express the feeling what I feel. Do you get me? Huh, I even don’t get it. But developing some great distractions, like playing the violin, painting, writing or even putting your shoes on and leave the house. Being one with the nature. A new habit I want to create and follow during my life! So I did when I was on holidays last summer.

I feel deeply satisfied when I’m one with the nature. What happens when you’re one with the nature? I feel peace, I feel me complete. I can walk for hours in the nature, through the woods, through the fields. See all that happens when you’re there, the birds are singing, small animals crawling on the floor, leaves falling, see the flowers growing. I love that. I hope you do too.

Last Friday, I was walking with my friend, her daugther and two of my daugthers (the oldest was playing with a friend of hers) near Arnhem, The Netherlands. It called the Posbank. A lovely area to walk, cycle or running or whatever you’re doing to be one with the nature. It was a shame that the flowers weren’t growing yet (now I have to com back in the summer), but still the enviroment was amazing. Still beautiful though. And it wasn’t raining. Yeah.

No, a little bit of green. But what I want to tell you is why you should be in the nature. It gives you peace, you can re-energize and think about nothing but where you are at at the moment and what happens around you. It doen’t cost you anything. It is free. You can do it alone, you can bring your friends, your love. Anyone that is important to you. I try to find a walk route each time I go on hildays. Most of the tie this is the reason I go on holidays. Just because walking is something I totally love. I live in an area where I can walk anytime I want. I’ll be in the nature in no time.

What do you feel when you’re in the nature? Do you feel free and in peace? I hope so. I live in The Netherlands, but there are so many areas to discover and I want to know more about. This being one with the nature helps me reduce the negative thoughts and feelings I have had.
