Indifference of the universe, the absent of god
The universe, like nature… Is indifferent. Good or evil (essentially, it’s just a social, human construct that does not exist in nature ; alas, only the reasoning and universal values would judge what would be considered good or bad. In the sense of the entire existence of existence, this concept seems insignificant in the grand scheme of thing) means nothing, all answers to their own action with the implications and the consequences of those actions triggered, what triggered those reactions are based on other factors, cultural, religious, economical, political, philosophical, humanity etc. Cause and effect, event and casualties.
I wonder if god; if does god exist, do they even have affiliation? Seems to me only those who proclaimed God is on their side seems affiliated with God and vice versa- But so is their rivaling sides that beliefs different concept, different aspect, different persona of God. They would do anything, say any events are of their God’s (which god(s)?) actions and power because of their emotional imbalance and upset (which is pretty peculiar for a deity to have very humanistic tendencies) and thus justifying their belief and furthering their faith.
While its okay if it doesn’t harm other human, most of the time these sorts of thing only leads to more religious absolutism, religious zeal and leads to the “end goal” to religionized the entire world or universe with one religion hegemony. Which to me, is bull — , that’s an impossibility due to the subjectivity of “truth”, truth is relative, not one person have the same concept of truth even if they share the same essence of faith, god, truth etc. (whatever you call it).
Example of this, even within Islam, the Muslim have khilafs, and disagreement, thus creating diverse factions and sects (Shia, Sunni, Khawarij, Sufi, Ahmedi, Qur’anist, Salafi, Alawite etc) and each sect have their own schools of thought (Sunni having Zahiri, Syafie, Maliki, Hambali, Hanafi) and even within a Syafie sect they might have different school of akidah (Asya’ari, Mutazili, Maturidi, Athari, Batiniyah, Jahmis, Murji’i, Qadari etc). And for things like Hanafi, there’s traditional Hanafi, reformed Hanafi, modern Hanafi, Hanafi that abides to ra’ie (rationalism), aside from the regular tenets, and those that choose to go for more fundamentalist revivalist movement like the Deobandi movements ; in short, even two Muslim being a sunni, hanafi can have different ideas on god, on truth, on religion, on morality, on ethics, on philosophy.
Seems pointless. In the end, people would still die, would still suffer would still discriminate each other, would still hate others or even self hate in the name of religion, in the name of god.
(Which version of it?)
If there is God. its beyond anthropomorphic expectations and interpretation by human, beyond existence and beyond infinity.. And probably would be indifferent too ; the proof of indifference is right in front of you;
1. people die from all sides that claim they are for God. Intramuslim wars and violence, disputing which version is the truest truth. IntraAbrahamic wars, regarding the same thing fighting for dominance etc.
2. people pray for something but still we’re the one that decide and put those prayers in action ; in the end, who heard the whispers of our laments and prayers? Our own self.
3. People pray for peace, for justice, for hope, for safety, for protection, for a particular society affected by terrorism, by natural disasters, by war — it didn’t stop it. There’s no divine intervention, there’s no support for the oppressed, victimised and the marginalized by the divines, the only way the oppressed, victimised and marginalized able to fight back, improve their condition, etc are by themselves and the supports of those that are humanistic, empathic enough. Humans are the one that paves way for the improvement of society, of humanity, of the world. Not divinities.
4. People often says if they have religion, and have god and do religious rituals, they are saved and won’t be inclined to do immoral and unethical stuff. However lots of thing in religious, cultural beliefs are immoral and unethical — slavery, child sex exploitation, child marriages, subjugation of women, advocating murders of unbelievers, LGBTIQ, atheist, apostates, and going for wars because they believe their god tells them to.
Know this, in the end, human beings are more important than dogmas, and traditions.
A prison, self-made mental emotional spiritual psychological prison.
The only key out of that prison
is our own self.
