Incheon is poised to become more than just a business hub — it’s a city that offers unforgettable experiences.

With 168 islands, abundant marine tourism, a rich port city history, and world-class MICE facilities and transport infrastructure, Incheon has something for everyone.

To showcase Incheon’s leisure offerings, the city is planning a roadshow in the second half of 2023, focusing on visitors from Southeast Asia and China.

This event will highlight the city’s diverse tourist attractions and appeal to a wide range of travelers.

As the region with the third-largest foreign population in the country, Incheon is committed to fostering harmony and inclusivity.

With approximately 80,000 foreign residents, the city is home to 15 international organizations, 5 foreign universities, and multicultural neighborhoods such as Songdo, a prime example of an international city.

Incheon is actively developing policies to support multicultural families, including education and career exploration for teenagers, as well as programs to raise cultural awareness among Korean residents and promote a discrimination-free society.

City officials are also considering an ordinance to make Songdo a bilingual city, where services and communications would be available in both Korean and English.

While the ordinance is currently under review and not expected to pass immediately, the mayor is optimistic that it will be realized in the future.
