A poem on embracing life unpredictability

Coloring outside the lines Of rigid plans Avid wanderer treading Adrift the fickle unknown

Better to set sail With a calibrated compass Than a marked-out trail, For it is someone’s expedition

Few who persevere To weather the storm at hand Awaken to the inner Lighthearted harmony

No matter how far your soul veers Home is always Right along there with you

I have gotten lost on multiple occasions in my hiking escapades. What I have come to learn and appreciate — is to keep a poise that breeds an openness towards volatile circumstances. This peace of mind has allowed me to make the most of each moment.

Nature has afforded me the gratification to glare in awe at the rose of life rather than its thorns.

If your plans don’t carry out as you envision it, be cool and keep moving forward because there’s magic in that as well. Brace yourself for unfathomable wonders to lift you in ethereal bliss.

Thank you all for reading, and thanks to 𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘊. and KTHT for this great platform that inspires us to self-express our authentic persona and connect with others.
