Shocked to find hundreds of overlooked reader comments

Loyal readers, kindly bear with me in my belated effort to acknowledge your thoughtful comments. Yesterday, I discovered a trove which I’d neglected to search.

I’d become demoralized of late, having inferred from dwindling email notifications that readers weren’t engaging. I dared to peek beneath my bulging bell, which I’d long ignored in favor of email.

Lo and behold! My work is more inspirational than I’d thought.

Alas, the comments are camouflaged amidst the deluge of claps. I’m overwhelmed at the prospect of culling hundreds from thousands. I get about 100 notifications per day — perhaps 10 of which are pertinent — times two … three (?) months in arrears … you do the math: I cannot bear to.
