Summer Six Word Story Challenge: “Shine!”

The color green makes me happy.

We have been traveling for a month in Singapore and Malaysia. I have loved every moment of being back here again. We have had many wonderful meals with family and friends and have enjoyed every bite of food we have shared with them. We have also been very active outside. We spent many hours touring in the Botanic Gardens in Singapore and in Penang, Malaysia. We have walked across the tropical rainforest on Penang Hill. We have hiked on mountain jungle trails in Fraser’s Hill, Malaysia.

Spending time with family and friends was our main goal. Eating as much of the local Asian food as we could was another goal. But, I’m a biologist, botanist and gardener as well as a traveler. I need plants. So seeing as much tropical foliage as I could was another goal of mine.

Family, Friends, Food, Foliage. We met our goals. Our beautiful tropical holiday is almost at an end. What a warm, sun-shining holiday it has been.
