The battle lines have been drawn between AI and HI There must be a winner, and there will most definitely be a loser. Who will win and who will lose? Do you have an answer?
Artificial intelligence is intelligence with the help of data and knowledge that humans have entered into machines like computers and other devices in the form of computer programs. AI has advanced in leaps and bounds since it was first created. Every human computer programmer is constantly updating the software to make it possible for the machine to learn every aspect of human behavior. A billion computer scientists are working to make AI powerful and capable of doing almost anything and everything we command it to do to make life easier. To achieve efficiency with the most complex, sensitive, dangerous, and repetitive tasks, we have turned to AI in so many fields of human endeavor, from science and medicine to agriculture and architecture. AI is ready and primed for its battle with human intelligence.
Humans, with their intelligence fueled by creativity and imagination, are also always learning, re-learning, and finding new ways to solve the problems they face in life. Humans are using their natural intelligence to advance in science, technology, and all areas of human endeavor, every day. Humans use artificial intelligence tools to reach these new objectives. We are becoming increasingly dependent on AI from the apps we use on our phones to producing our medicines to fight diseases. Humans feel that they are ready to challenge AI in any field, as they possess intelligence, knowledge, and creativity as well as human emotions. Will this help HI defeat AI?
In my opinion, AI will always defeat HI as artificial intelligence possesses one strong power that humans with their intelligence do not possess, and that is "unity." Humans like to divide and conquer; they are always at war with one another. The day when there are no wars is the day when humanity has achieved peace and unity.
AI on the other hand, always unites their systems to acquire information and data of various types. Computers can “speak” to one another, and they “sync” to other digital systems we humans have created. All electronic systems we create and use are operated by AI systems in one form or another.
Unlike humans, artificial intelligence does not possess human flaws and emotions. These cold and hard machines can only “see” and “judge” the world according to the programs embedded into their systems by their human creators. AI is geared to one day reach "singularity," when artificial intelligence will function as a “virtual entity" free from human control. This sounds like science fiction, but what was once science fiction like a rocket to the moon is a reality today. Who do you think will win the battle between AI and HI?
