In 2022 I Will Prioritize My Time Differently

I want to be creative, write, make a legacy — I just never find the time to do it. My dream is to sit by a lake, make coffee over the fire and feel content about what I have accomplished.

My Challenge

I always make sure that everyone’s needs and wishes are met. Afterward, it will be my time. However, that time never comes. I often get the feeling that my hours and efforts are in vain.

I will continue to take care of and spend time with my dear family, work and tidy the house. Nevertheless, I can’t continue serving everyone else before me. Being a mother and a wife, I must be better at balancing them before me and me before them. Yes, they are spoiled, and I have some un-spoiling to do.

I need to find a better balance between my family life and my creative work.

The Resolution

In 2022 I will be better at prioritizing what is important to me. My time is finite, and I must use it thoughtfully.

To reach my goal, I need to make a huge mindset transformation.

My Mindset Shift:

  • I will spend time on self-reflection every week and ask myself important questions like — What is important to me? — What am I thankful for? — What do I want to change? — What do I need to do now, and what can be postponed?
  • I have to shift my thinking to change my life. I need to stop feeling guilty for everything. My dreams are important.
  • I need to accept that I can’t always meet other people’s expectations if I want to reach my ambitions.
  • I shall be present. I will take each little available moment and use it wisely.
  • I will believe in myself. Visualize my definition of success.

“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson

2022 is the year I will learn to be a pro prioritizer!

Why do I want to be a better me in 2022? I want peace of mind. I want to be able to sit by a lake on a beautiful summer night and feel content with what I have accomplished.
