This article is probably going to be the very best ever published on Medium.

It is, however, being published on the weekend for readers who have followed me, and for those who have subscribed to the service that sends you an email whenever I publish a story. As you know, you people are called “my peeps.”

Right now we are operating on the honor system, so if you are not in that category, please don't act out.

This is a bulletin being sent, closed circuit, for the peeps' general knowledge, and to receive their input. I am sneaking this story out quietly for you guys.

Yes, it's like being alone on an elevator, never knowing when it might stop and let on some stranger. Low profile.

To become one of the peeps, look for the envelope icon. You know what to do when you find it. I don’t think I'’m supposed to say.

Of course, this bulletin is not the regular update. We have just about decided on Saturday as being a good day for the update. So look for it on Saturdays. Set your clocks.

Another decision we are about to make is to hook up with “Buy Me a Coffee” as a possible, albeit unlikely source of income. Let me know what you think.

I was discussing it this week with some other medium writers down where we sell plasma, on towards the end of the month, when that old rent payment looms just over the horizon.

We used to have our own lounge down there, but they closed it off and shut down the wi-fi, on account of the excess bandwidth consumption near rent days.

So, to sum up doday’s missive:

  1. Updates on Saturdays.
  2. Bulletins at odd and irregular times.
  3. Buy me a coffee.
  4. No more Medium Writer’s Lounge down at the plasma place.

  1. Ignore the first two, they aren’t for you.

  3. Go ahead and subscribe so you'll be ready for the next update.
