Impermanent Fog

A Poem

Photo by Jakub Kriz on Unsplash

I’ve been in a fog of life of my own doing I’m not complaining about the fog itself I enjoy the fog. I enjoy the life that is in it I’m coming out of the fog more often recently I see the beginnings I see the ends I see the journey…but I see each point along the way I see that they are all in front of me But I see, I see that they will all pass I see them as if they are already gone I see that there will be a point where this journey will end I’ve always known that I am imperfect I’ve never really realized how impermanent I am I was impermanent then I am impermanent now I will be impermanent until I am no more
