I’m Starting to Get More and More Hate Comments on Medium
*Cue the world’s smallest violin*
My following on Medium is increasing by the day. So far I’m almost at about 1.3K followers and I thank each and everyone of you for rocking with me so far.
To be honest, in the beginning, I didn’t know how much traffic I would get on my page just because of the type of content I was producing.
Do people really want to hear an unapologetic Black man from Louisiana get on here and constantly talk about race, racism, and systematic white supremacy daily?
Then there’s the thing of white fragility — the idea of making a white person uncomfortable when race issues are brought up.
I even had a few Black folks try to tell me not to get too deep or too harsh when it comes to these discussions.
You know, scared negroes think about stuff like that. Thank God I’m not one of them. I stand on the truth and accept whatever consequences may come with it.
But anyway, fortunately, I’ve been gaining a lot of attraction to my Medium page. People on this platform from all races are not only intrigued by the discussions of racism and systematic white supremacy, but they are interested in hearing my perspectives on the matter.
A lot of people agree with a lot of the things that I say, and others probably hate my guts.
I say that because I’m noticing that I’m starting to get more and more distasteful comments under my articles now.
All of them so far have come from suspected white supremacist troll accounts — you know, the ones with the names “Tom,” “Peter,” and “Stanley” with less than five followers on their account who usually have no profile picture and a profile picture with a random image they picked up from Google.
That’s where the type of hate comments are coming from that’s filled with whining and babbling.
And to be clear, this isn’t every white person; some white folks like what I have to say and I respect that.
But we do have some emotional, whiny white supremacists that are out here in these Medium streets, ladies, and gentlemen.
Well, I’m here to tell all of you trolls that I have a large empty jar of Hellmann’s mayonnaise that I’ve been saving for all of your white tears.
You might want to check this out to get a bit of an understanding of where I’m coming from.
Now, I’ll make sure to do my due diligence and invest in more empty jars because the tears are going to have to just keep on coming. After all, I’m not going to stop speaking truth to power just because your feelings are hurt.
The day that I stop talking about racism is when the system of white supremacy is replaced with a system of justice.
Once that’s done, then I’ll probably move on to discussing other topics that interest me, like anime and basketball.
