I’m starting out the year with more time doing the things that nurture ME. What are you adding to your schedule just for your — health? Spirit?

As you begin the year with that new motivational word, goals, calendar, lists of books to read, and a huge stash of notebooks, have you remembered to put yourself into the plan?

Questions to ask:

  • What energizes me?
  • How much alone time do I need?
  • What activities make me feel special?
  • Does my plan for the year serve me or do I serve it?
  • When I look around my space, how do I feel? At peace? Stressed?

My answers are that I’m energized by time alone and need a few hours a day. Craft supplies like Washi tape, candles, and pretty teacups make me feel special. I’m cozy and relaxed in my space.
