Poem - When forgiveness already seems to be impossible to get

I’m sorry for the moments I have strayed The paths I took that have led our love astray My heart has yearned for the things I can’t reach But now I know I must stay in this cozy lane.

I have been distracted by the flames of desire My thoughts have ventured to the places I can’t leave My steps have wandered instead of being directed And now I realize I should have been here…with you

I’m sorry for the times I should have been true For every moments I’ve neglected that were meant for you My heart has been wandering along an unknown path But now I know my heart should stay with you

I was imagining this guy apologizing for his mistakes in front of his woman’s home that has already been emptied… hoping the door cam can be seen by her one day…
