I’m Not a People Person
I like to stay hush
I’m not a people person, I like to stay hush I would withhold my words, not talk Wrap my head around the abyssal depth of my thoughts A universe in my head far-flung from this universe Precisely, I call that — my escape
I’m not a people person, I like to stay hush What I really do, is write and hide behind my words I’m a fan of word fusion, fabricating my sentences I would speak to you but through sheets Eye to eye or not at all
I’m not a people person, I like to stay hush Do not confuse me with boring, I’m not I have a room filled with things to talk to and I do not feel the absence of humans Humans — I run away from
I’m not a people person, I like to stay hush Do not ask me to come out cause I cannot Out — if I try, I’ll make a blunder My shadowed, My frigid This cave is my safe place
I’m not a people person, I like to stay hush What I can really be, is a good listener I can be your friend and read between your words In me, you will seek peace and compassion But forgive me, my friend, if I fail at words
I’m not a people person, I like to stay hush There is but someone that I love to talk to With me, within me and around me — it persists It is you and I but not you and I it is us but not us It is with nature, that I don’t like to stay hush
