I’m Liquid and I Flow, I’m Made of H2O. What Am I?

Water. The most underrated and underappreciated substance - not until you’re desperate for it. Gagging for a drop of its clear, wet, satisfying figure. Water. A proud element, waits for no man but slows for breath at every river bank. The waves it produces arrests the attention of all animals alike. From the tap to the waterfall, water will have you in detention, no mercy. Water. Our lifeline, over and over and over and over. Thirsty? drink water. Dehydrated? drink water. Exercising? drink water. Sick? drink water. Want clearer skin? drink water - or so I have heard. It makes me think, is water magic? Maybe so. Maybe not. All I know is that it also runs through our bloody, virus fighting bodies. All 75% of our bodily fluids is water. Wow. I used to hate water but now I look at its pale skin in awe. Magic like melanin. Delicious like Jollof at a wedding reception but bland like unseasoned chicken from Dirty Bird. A contradiction I know, but water will do that to you. A bittersweet magician is water. Oh yes oh yes, oh yes oh yes. Love it or hate it, water will never dry. Love it or hate it, water will always be the prettiest belle at the ball. I may not always like it or love it, I may sometimes reject it or dilute it, I may not touch it for days or want it for days... But let me just say. Without it we are dead.
