Poetry

I opened the floodgates to my memories No love was found Only hate and more grief

So… I feel it I acknowledge it I treat it I work through it I love myself through it I find myself through it

Because my past doesn’t have to define me Even if I want to look back I don’t need to go back

I’m learning how to walk away Which is its own kind of magic when you live it day after day
