I’m currently in Dokka attending my friend’s weekend seminar. She picked me up at the train station, and we drove here at midday yesterday — making two essential stops on the way. The drive took about 2 hours.
Dokka is a village situated in the municipality of Nordre Land, which is located North/North East of Oslo. We are staying at the same place where the seminar will be held — Haugtun.

It’s a local historical accommodation with roots going back to the middle ages. This accommodation is “close to the sky”, with breathtaking views.

Even though the seminar itself will be the focal point, I am curious about the surrounding nature in the vicinity. Today I woke up at 6 am, so if that happens tomorrow, I will venture out to explore more of this place before breakfast at 9 am.
